Garden Party, the 40 year's celebration of "Bennys Tub", a Masterclass with Richard Kern and a Spanish Evening were just some of the things that OFF11 had to offer. And of course lots of film!

In 2009 OFF was given a complete make-over. The film festival stood proud with a new festival director and a brand new profile. The soul of the festival being amazing films from around the world remained untouched. However, the festival offered a wide variety of side events which contributed to OFF accomplishing its goal in becoming an international film event.
Once again OFF proved its worth and presented a collection of the best shorts and documentaries from all over the world. The well-known and popular Video Clip Cup once again made its way back to the festival and new initiatives like Pink Party and Uncut – forbidden films helped make a great festival.
Films everywhere! A record breaking number of over 1300 short films were submitted and a brand new award was introduced at the festival: The Danish Animation Award.
2006 marks the year where the festival offered 3 new and exciting initiatives: The Audience Award, Odense International Film Festival Uncut and a great seminar for children.
Films are modern day fairy tales! H. C. Andersen’s birthday became the theme of the festival, and a special award was given in his honour. A special film programme was put together to celebrate the year of the author’s 200th birthday.
