You would like to visit Odense International Film Festival – but you don’t know how to find us. Please let us help you out! Read on and learn more about finding your way to Odense. We welcome you with open arms at our film festival.

By bus
Odense International Film Festival is situated at the area surrounding Brandts Klaedefabrik – in the heart of Odense. There are no bus routes which passes the center of the city but you can use the ‘Rute 10’ bus which is free to use and which takes you around nearby many of the central places in Odense. Get off at Klingenberg or Vesterbro/Søndergade and walk the last 200 metres to get to the festival area.

On foot
If you choose to walk all the way from the train station, you will find the shortest route by crossing Kongens Have (‘The King’s Garden’) – a park which is situated across from the train station. Continue to walk towards the shopping street and follow Vestergade to your right. Soon, you will some across Brandts Passage.  Follow this pedestrianized street and it will lead you to the festival headquarters.

Coming from Kastrup

If you arrive from Kastrup Airport, there are several ways to get to Odense. Several trains will take you from Kastrup in the direction of Jutland – it will be far the easiest solution to get on one of these trains. Just remember to get off when you reach Odense, half way along the route.

The second possibility is to get on ’Øresundstoget’ taking you from Kastrup to Nivå train station. Get off at the Copenhagen railway station and find a train which can take you in the direction of Funen/Jutland. The leave XX:00, XX:30 and XX:50 – and most often from track 7 or 8.

Coming from Billund
If you arrive from Billund Airport, you will have to get on bus no. 143 to Vejle. The bus will be parked at platform 7 at the airport. In Vejle, you have to get on a train in the direction of Copenhagen. Just remember to get off in Odense when you are half way to Copenhagen. The travel from Billund to Odense will take you about two hours, depending on how the different kinds of transportation manage to cooperate.
