This year – celebrating the 25th anniversary of Odense International Film Festival – we have decided to go back to the short film and our original focus, so that only short films are accepted in the competition 2010.

To submit a film, you need to accept the conditions of participation below and fill out the subsequent online entry form. The preview copy of your film together with the entry confirmation should be send to the following adress:

Film registration for the 25th International Odense Film Festival August 23rd – 28th 2010.

Entries submitted after April 1st will be registred for the 26th International Odense Film Festival in 2011 and will not be considered for selection in 2010.

Online Usage of Your Film

Please decide how Odense Film Festival can use your film online and with our media partners. By allowing the Film Festival to show your film online, you are much more likely to get more press coverage and be exposed to a much larger audience, and it would enable the festival visitors to watch, comment, share and invite friends to watch your film. If you allow it, online screenings will of course always be associated with the appropriate credits and relevant weblinks. Videos will be embedded using flash, thus making it harder to download and/or copy. FULLY Your film can be viewed in it's full length at the film festival website, and be showcased by the festivals' media partners. PARTLY Parts of your film can be shown at the film festival website, and be showcased by the festivals' media partners. The festival can select which parts to show, as long as the total running time of the clip doesn't exceed 25% of the total running time. NOT AT ALL Your film will not be shown online. Only your provided still images will be used in the marketing and communication for the.
