10 Danish Short Films Shortlisted for The Robert Awards
When OFF takes place in week 35, we once again invite everyone to join Under the Open Sky (Under Åben Himmel) – our free programme that brings together film, music and community in one of Odense’s most charming urban spaces Brandts Klædefabrik.
From Tuesday to Sunday, at the Amphitheatre Stage (Amfiscenen) and Farvergården, you can experience everything from major outdoor film screenings after dark and film music concerts to community singing sessions, guided walks to film locations, flamenco performances and, as something truly special this year, the OFF Awards ceremony under the open sky.
This year, Under Åben Himmel has been made possible thanks to a donation of DKK 125,000 from Nordjyllandsfonden. Selected events have also received support from FilmFyn, Café Biografen, Studenterhuset and Brandts Brugerforening. This valuable support enables us to offer even more free experiences to the public.
Audiences have voted for their favourites
Outdoor film screenings are famously among the festival’s biggest attractions, and this year will certainly be no exception as we present both new cinematic gems and beloved classics. This year, audiences have also helped shape the programme, with two of the films selected through a vote among festival guests.
On five evenings during the festival, you can take a seat among fellow film lovers and enjoy carefully selected audience favourites completely free of charge.
