The Cafe Bio is situated in the heart of the Brandts area at the big Amfi-square that is recognised by the great, white bars adorning the Amfi-stage along with a very recognisable John Lennon statue in front of the stage. The Cafe-Bio holds three theatres in different sizes.

The Cafe-Bio 1-2-3 are all used every year during the festival for filmscreenings primarily of the competition films. The films are screened every day of the week from 9 morning to 11 in the evening. All three theatres share the same adress.

Cafe Bio 3 is the smallest of the three theatres. Like the two other theatres it is used all week long during the festival.
