Life on an electroconvulsive therapy ward is told in this film. The patients we meet are to have ect. treatment in order to soothe their mental issues. From that premise, a kind and intimate portrayal of the patients and their carers has sprung. We experience the struggles with mental illness in many different and surprising facets, and the incredibly dedicated and warm staff who care for them.
