In this film we follow life on board a squid catching ship. The giant container vessel’s only purpose is to pull up squid in unspeakable amounts all day long. This is a postcard from way out at sea - fragmented in glimpses of loneliness, isolation, longing, inhumane living conditions and a highly needed critique of our food industry and its, often hidden, brutally industrial and harmful work methods.
