Liana is a young eastern European woman working with her father in Germany on a building site. Living conditions are dire and wages seem to be constantly out of reach. Liana takes decisive and life changing action in order to save her father and ultimately herself. A strong, arresting and intimate portrayal of migrant workers’ conditions in the rich and maybe not so promising west.
